NOVA is proud to announce the signing of Zack Leddon for the 2019 Season to Coach NOVA's Strength and Conditioning Program.

"There is no offseason in rugby." - Andre Van Wyk

Fall matches are in the books and Spring matches are on the horizon. During the Winter, NOVA looks to improve their game with a strong strength and conditioning program. The signing of Zack was crucial for this to happen.

Zack comes to NOVA with loads of experience. His resume speaks for itself, but to highlight it, Zack is currently employed with the Washington Capitals Hockey Team as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Zack received his Masters in Strength and Conditioning from The George Washington University and has years of experience as an Explosive Performance Coach.

NOVA prides itself in creating a professional, competitive atmosphere. Adding Zack to the ranks is NOVA's next step in raising the level of professionalism in the club and helping the boys be more competitive in our league.

Zack has already started his work with NOVA by making a rugby specific, week to week, workout program for the boys to do in the gym. Furthermore, starting in January, Zack will lead NOVA's Offseason Training Sessions on the pitch.

When Zack isn't training rugby players, he's a standout rugby player himself. It's not only his speed and strength that make him an asset on the pitch, but his knowledge and love of rugby that takes him a step above the rest. NOVA is honored to have Zack represent the NOVA Crest on the pitch and help make everyone around him better off the pitch.

“Pray like it’s in God’s hands but you had better work like it’s in yours.” - Zack Leddon
