Directions to Word of Grace CC/Old Redskins Park

WOG is located at Redskin Drive, off McLearen Rd (Rte.668) between Sully Rd (Rte. 28) & Centreville Rd (Rte. 657).  WOG is very close to the Washington Dulles Airport Hilton Hotel and Rachel Carson Middle School.  (See Local Map)

DIRECTIONS TO WOG - Options

• From the West - option 1: Route 7 Leesburg Pike
• From the West - option 2: Dulles Toll Road/Greenway
• From the West - option 3: Route 50 (Lee Jackson Mem Hway)
• From the West - option 4: I-66 via Rte. 28 (Sully Rd)
• From I-495 Capital Beltway via Dulles Toll Road
• From Lawyers Rd/West Ox Rd
• From Rte. 50 – Lee Jackson Memorial Hway & Centreville Rd
• From Fairfax County Parkway (Rte. 7100)

• From the West - option #1: Route 7 Leesburg Pike

From Route 7 (Harry Byrd Highway/Leesburg Pike), take Route 28 (Sully Rd) SOUTH.  Go 8 miles south on Rte. 28 to McLearen Rd (Rte. 668).  (The Washington Dulles Airport Hilton Hotel will come into view on your left just before the exit for McLearen Rd.)  Exit EAST onto McLearen Rd (Rte. 668).  (McLearen only goes east from Rte. 28 Sully Rd!)

As soon as you come off the exit ramp onto McLearen, you will come to a traffic light at Towerview Rd.  Turn LEFT into Towerview Rd.  Take second turning to the left which is Redskin Drive.  Word of Grace is about 400 feet down Redskin Drive on the right.  You will see the two fields behind the WOG building.

• From the West - option #2: Dulles Toll Road/Greenway

From the Dulles Toll Road/Greenway (Rte. 267),  take Route 28 (Sully Rd) SOUTH.  Go 2.5 miles south on Rte. 28 to McLearen Rd (Rte. 668).  (The Washington Dulles Airport Hilton Hotel will come into view on your left just before the exit for McLearen Rd.)  Exit EAST onto McLearen Rd.  (McLearen only goes east from Rte. 28 Sully Rd!)

• From the West - option #3: Route 50 (John Mosby H'way / Lee Jackson Memorial H'way)

From Route 50 (John Mosby H'way / Lee Jackson Memorial H'way), take Route 28 (Sully Rd) NORTH.  Go 2.5 miles NORTH on Rte. 28 to exit for McLearen Rd (Rte. 668).  Exit EAST onto McLearen Rd.  (McLearen only goes east from Rte. 28 Sully Rd!)

• From the West - option #4: I-66 via Rte. 28 (Sully Rd)

Take I-66 to Exit 53.  Take Rte 28 (Sully Rd) NORTH about 6 miles to exit for McLearen Rd.  Exit EAST onto McLearen Rd.  (McLearen only goes east from Rte. 28 Sully Rd!)

As soon as you come off the exit ramp onto McLearen, you will come to a traffic light at Towerview Rd.  Turn LEFT into Towerview Rd.  Take second turning to the left which is Redskin Drive.  Word of Grace is about 400 feet down Redskin Drive on the right.  You will see the two fields behind the WOG building. 

 

• From I-495 Capital Beltway via Dulles Toll Road

From I-495 (Capital Beltway) take Exit 45 West (old exit-12) to the Dulles Toll Road, Rte. 267.  Take Dulles Toll Rd (Rte. 267) WEST to Exit 10.  Stay in (outer) toll lanes!

At Exit 10 take Centreville Rd (Rte. 657) SOUTH.   Drive SOUTH on Centreville Rd for approximately 2.4 miles to McLearen Rd (Rte. 668).  (There is an Exxon gas station on the right.)  At light, TURN RIGHT onto McLearen Rd. 

Go through first light.  (Rachel Carson Middle School on right.)  Proceed 0.5 mile to 2nd light at Towerview Rd.  TURN RIGHT into Towerview Rd.  Take second turning to the left which is Redskin Drive.  Word of Grace is about 400 feet down Redskin Drive on the right.  You will see the two fields behind the WOG building.

• From Fairfax County Parkway (Rte. 7100)

From Fairfax County Parkway (Rte. 7100) take West Ox Rd WESTBOUND.  At the next traffic light, TURN LEFT into McLearen Rd (Rte. 668). 

Stay on McLearen, crossing Centreville Rd (Rte. 657).  After crossing Centreville Rd, go through first light.  (Rachel Carson Middle School on right.)  Proceed 0.5 mile to 2nd light at Towerview Rd.  TURN RIGHT into Towerview Rd.  Take second turning to the left which is Redskin Drive.  Word of Grace is about 400 feet down Redskin Drive on the right.  You will see the two fields behind the WOG building.
